Derya Karaca
Accredited representative, citizenship and renewals
Derya isn't a lawyer. She's an accredited representative, authorized by the Department of Justice to prepare and file immigration applications at a recognized nonprofit.
She handles citizenship applications, green card renewals and replacement cards, and the fee waivers that go with them. Anything that needs a court or a lawyer, she passes to Milagros or Wilkin the same day.
She runs the clinic's practice sessions for the civics test and the citizenship interview.

Practice sessions
Derya runs small practice sessions for the civics test and the interview, with the same kinds of questions the officer asks. Clients who need Spanish at the session have Milagros or the front desk there to help.
