How it works
How a case moves at the clinic
Five steps, and you know what each one costs before it starts.
- 01
Step 1: The check or a call
Take the two-minute check, call, text, or walk in on a Wednesday morning.
- 02
Step 2: A free screening
About half an hour with a lawyer or our accredited representative, by phone or at the office.
- 03
Step 3: A written plan and fee
What we'll file, what it costs, and what the government charges, all on one page.
- 04
Step 4: We prepare and file together
You read and sign everything. You keep a copy of every page.
- 05
Step 5: We stay until it's done
Letters, interviews, hearings. If something arrives in the mail, bring it in and we'll read it with you.
About fees
How is the fee set?
By your household's size and income, on a written scale we'll show you. You see the number before you agree to anything.
What if I can't pay anything?
Tell us. Some cases we take at no charge, and we can often spread a fee over several months.
Who pays the government's fees?
You do, separately from ours, unless you qualify for a waiver. We'll check that for you and help you ask for it.
Step one takes two minutes
Answer a few questions, and we'll call you to set up the screening.
